More about me
Hello there :) My name is Jabed (pronouced: Jab-ed), I was born on the 23rd August and am currently eighteen years old. I reside near Manchester in England and am studying at college. My mother tongue is Bengali, English being my second language. I have a two brothers Khaled and Hassan and a sister named Yasmin. I don't really like my name and hope to change it in the future because I'm tired of telling some people how to pronounce it and spell it, it's just an awkward name lol. I have black hair and brown eyes and most people think I look younger than I actually am, some say I look 15 others say 14. I'm not too bothered, I use it to my advantage by getting away with 'child' train fares when I'm actually meant to get the adult price ones mwuhahaha so it's not all bad being quite small.
Most of my time is consumed by college, I'm studying Accouting, Psychology, Business, English Language, English Literature, Geography and Critical Thinking. In my spare time I like going shopping, going places, developing and blogging on my website, a little freelance work, spending a few minutes checking my inbox on Myspace. Walking around town with a cup of coffee to-go, spending an hour or so walking with no destination point and maybe listening to music on my mp3 player is one of life's pleasures. A thing I really dislike is doing housework which takes up a lot of time :(
I'm the type of guy you are more likely to notice after talking to me than just passing by me on the street. I have a great deal of empathy and also have a good sense of humour. I'd say my intelligence is a little above average, getting mostly grade B's and a few A's and C's here-&-there. I am generally a quiet person but I do love to talk to other people, whether it be a really deep conversation or just bitching. I have a habit of critisizing myself and unfortunately others, it's mostly constructive critisizm.
Something which can be rather annoying is that I like to think, but sometimes I think about random things at the wrong times, like at exams I will start thinking about something comlpetely unrelated to the exam and that becomes my downfall when I get a low grade. As I've mentioned in the 'quick fire facts' section I said I like reading and if you were interested to know which book is my favourite then it would have to be 'A Splendid Thousand Suns' by Khaled Hosseini. His storytelling is brilliant and I like how the narroter switches from different perspectives near the second half of the book.
I get on well with girls more than guys, I find communicating with girls far more easier, a conversation with a girl can last forever but if I'm talking a to a guy then it won't last very long unless he is a close friend.
In the future, I hope have a high status Banking or Management job. I'd then move onto property developing (my dream career). I'd love to have my own family when I'm older, be married to a funny and clever wife who would have lots in common with me and who be my best friend :3
