Windows XP Smooth Screen Fonts

If your a Windows XP user then you may notice how sharp the screen fonts are when they're at a fairly large size. You can smoothen the fonts out by altering Windows Display Properties. Here is an example of before and after enabling the Windows XP 'smooth fonts'.

To use this effect right-click when your on your desktop, go to Properties and click on the Appearance tab at the top. Now choose the 'Effects' button near the bottom and a window will pop up, tick the 'Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts', make sure the word 'Standard' is in the drop down option.

Hit OK and finally press 'Apply' on the Appearance tab. You'll notice the smooth difference straight away :)
